Did you know that some things are still free? I’ve become a big fan of borrowing books from Toronto’s Public Libraries. It doesn’t cost a penny, and my bookshelves aren’t crowded with books I won’t pick up again. One book I’m currently borrowing, but may end up purchasing, is Locavore by Sarah Elton.

Locavore offers a hopeful and inspirational cross-Canada perspective of how trends towards local food are transforming the way Canadians grow food. As Locavores, we become reconnected to our food chain by connecting with the farmers who grow the food we eat… or even growing our own food as I do every summer on my balcony!
